Weaving Story into Form

Every woman carries stories within her that exist before, in-between, and beyond the spoken word. It is these untold and emerging stories that become a focal point of the weaving process, translated into art and represented in the beadwork.

Embarking on The Woven Path creates an intentional artery for these stories to emerge from their holding chambers in the heart. The process of co-creating a sacred design offers a way for a woman’s stories to be witnessed, honoured, and expressed; while the receiving of the physical adornment allows a woman to hold and claim these stories as her own, in connection to the beauty of her essence, and share them with the world.

These stories offer access to deep wisdom, soul memory, and personal medicine to serve on the journey to the woman you are becoming.

Sacred Thresholds

Each ceremonial container is shaped in a unique and deeply personal way to honour the season of life you are currently walking through. We create in relationship with life's transitions, initiations, griefs, celebrations, and rites of passage.

Through creative practice, gentle play and a deep ceremonial process you are met and supported through a threshold moment in your life.

Your adornment then becomes a guide, a reflection and a sacred item to support you in the crossing you are traversing and continually fortify you with the medicine you are cultivating and carrying.

The weaving process itself becomes a threshold: a bridge between the intangible to the tangible, the unseen and the seen.

Birthing a Living Talisman

Depending upon the themes we choose to work with, the weaving can become a tangible expression of inner landscape, spiritual architecture, soul path, aspects of multi-dimensionality and so much more.

Because they hold a specific frequency, prayer or blessing wearing the earrings, placing them on your altar, and looking at them everyday can support in grounding the medicine into your life, and assist in anchoring into a new way of being.

Deep Listening & Reflection

We listen for the songs of your soul ~ sounds that may not be heard easily with the human ear, but are heard through the heart.

We attune to the wisdom encoded within your aura. We gather the medicines you carry. We honour the prayers you hold for your life.

My role is not to define your story, but to reflect the beauty within it back to you. To share what I see and hear, and assist in pulling forward the threads you wish to weave into your life going forward.

Why Earrings?

Over the years I have received requests to craft bracelets and necklaces and other styles of adornments. However, I see there is something so powerful in how the earrings sit at the throat, and extend from the ears. The places of listening and speaking, sites of receiving and sharing stories.

The way I weave the earrings is to serve as symbols of the importance of listening more deeply, speak more authentically, and remembering that not all stories need to be shared with words ~ they can become apparent through the way we hold and carry ourselves in the world.

The words ear and art are both encompassed within the two key guides we work with in the weaving process: heart & earth.
